This site is dedicated to the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle through dietary means.  Some of us eat just plants, while others eat mostly plants and some animals.  Do we hate each other because we have varying viewpoints on this subject?  Certainly not.  Here is why:

“…it is not possible to identify the precise proportions of foods from plant and animal sources that best promote health, nor is it possible to identify the composition of a genetically determined optimal diet, if such exists.” M. Nestle,  Proceedings of the Nutrition Society (1999), 58, 211–218.

From a pure health standpoint we agree on two truths:

  1. Eating plant-based products is healthy.
  2. Eating selective animal products is healthy when combined with mostly plants.

We decided to ignore the strange case of just eating animals.

We differ on a moral standpoint mainly because Sean has no soul.
